At eighteen, with a suitcase in hand, she left for Japan to study fashion design in Fukuoka, which led her to work with designer Junko Koshino in Tokyo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter studying accessory design at FIT in New York City and working there in the footwear industry, Chie headed to Spain in search of Made in Spain craftmanship. The blend of cultures, languages, and experiences shaped her way of seeing the world—and creating within it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince then, Chie has never followed fashion or trends.
